Today’s topic is about cyber security and why it is so important in our society. Nowadays we are using a lot of devices which work via internet connection, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and even watches called smartwatches(e.g Apple Watch). These all variations of devices are used in our live not only at home, but also at work. Thus our devices and its information must be secured. In real life, nobody wants to disclosure own photos or kind of information without permission.
Some certificates(like HTTPS) were developed for website protection in order to protect information from hackers. Those stuff can protect from eavesdropping attack, however this is only one of the hacking methods and we are still threatened. In addition, for protecting we can use strong passwords.

We have spoken about websites and internet. Now, let’s talk about computers and operating systems. Newest Windows versions, macOS(OSX) have strong firewalls which could protect.  Firewalls are quite powerful software for protecting, but I would recommend using anti-malware software, in addition to embedded firewall.

Fortunately, users’ data aren’t so important for hackers and they are focused on companies and government websites. Company that was hacked can be greatly harmed because of leaked data.
